Giacomo is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Padova and will join RFBerlin in the coming fall. His interests include political economy and labor economics, with a particular focus on the economics of migration. In his work, Giacomo applies structural econometric models to broad questions in political economy and uses structural and experimental methods to investigate the determinants of migration. Giacomo obtained his PhD in Economics from Bocconi University, where he is affiliated with the LEAP laboratory.
