Harald Schultz is currently director of communications at the Rockwool Foundation Berlin.
He used to work as press officer for the ifo Institute in Munich where he massively expanded its presence in the German media until it established itself as the most-quoted economic research institute in the country.
As a journalist he worked for Reuters, AP, dapd, Handelsblatt, Manager Magazin, Zeit Online and other publications. He was also a Paris correspondent for the German weekly Die Woche. He was trained as a journalist at the Henri-Nannen-Schule in Hamburg.
Before that he obtained a diploma in Political Science and Economics from the University of Hamburg and spent a year at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris.
